Welcome to PBI AI Agent for Power BI ("the Service"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our Power BI visual software and related services provided by PBI AI Agent ("we," "us," or "our").
1. License Grant and Restrictions

We offer the following license types:
- Free Tier: 100 queries per month for individuals
- Starter: 500 queries per month for small teams
- Pro: 3,000 queries per month for bigger teams
- Business: Unlimited queries for companies with widespread Power BI usage
1.2 License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the PBI AI Agent software within Microsoft Power BI for your internal business purposes.
1.3 Restrictions
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purposes
- Exceed your allocated query limits
- Share your license key with unauthorized users
- Use the Service to compete with our business
- Attempt to circumvent usage tracking or limits
2. User Responsibilities
2.1 API Keys
You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining your own API keys from AI model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.). We do not provide these API keys, and you are responsible for all charges from these providers.
2.2 Data Security
You are responsible for:
- Ensuring your data is appropriate for AI processing
- Complying with your organization's data governance policies
- Not processing sensitive personal information without proper authorization
- Understanding that queries may be processed by third-party AI providers
3. Payment Terms
3.1 Subscription Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. All payments are processed through Stripe, and you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
3.2 No Refunds
3.3 Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled. You can cancel anytime through your customer portal or by contacting us.
4. Service Availability
4.1 Uptime
We strive to maintain high service availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.
4.2 Dependencies
Our Service depends on third-party AI providers. Service interruptions may occur due to issues with these providers, which are beyond our control.
5. Data and Privacy
5.1 Data Collection
We collect and process the following data:
- Email addresses for licensing and communication
- IP addresses for security and usage analytics
- Browser fingerprints for fraud prevention
- Query usage statistics and metadata
- Payment information (processed by Stripe)
5.2 Data Processing
Your queries are processed by third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) using your API keys. We do not store query content, but usage statistics are logged for billing purposes.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Our IP
The PBI AI Agent software, including all code, designs, and documentation, is our proprietary property protected by intellectual property laws.
6.2 Your Data
You retain all rights to your data and query content. We do not claim ownership of your data or the results generated by AI models.
7. Termination
7.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by:
- Canceling your subscription through the customer portal
- Contacting us directly
- Downgrading to the free tier
7.2 Termination by Us
We may terminate your account for:
- Violation of these Terms
- Non-payment of fees
- Abuse of the Service
- Fraudulent activity
7.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease immediately. You remain responsible for all charges incurred before termination.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
8.2 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
8.3 AI Model Limitations
AI models may produce inaccurate, biased, or inappropriate results. You are responsible for reviewing and validating all AI-generated content before use.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where our company is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
